The SBC event is primarily a networking and learning experience, open to anyone curious about entrepreneurship — whether you have a fully formed business, a loose idea, or no idea at all. The event is designed to meet you exactly where you are and help you explore what is possible in your field or area of passion, all while staying grounded in your Catholic values.
The Syro Shark Tank is an optional, exciting highlight of the SBC event where selected participants pitch their business ideas to a panel in front of the audience — think Shark Tank, with a Syro-Malabar community spirit. Participation is entirely optional and requires advance submission of your idea. Invitations for those interested in pitching will go out in mid-April 2026 to registered SBC event attendees. If you are not pitching, you can still enjoy the session as an audience member — it promises to be one of the most energizing parts of the day.
